What's to come

Today I met with Anneke, the owner at La Feta Vij. I will be making some bunting for her, to decorate the courtyard outside the restaurant during the upcoming wine festival. Next week (21, 22, 23 June) it is the Winter Wine Festival, and it looks like a humdinger of an event! Lots of food, wine and things to look at. Just what you need on a chilly winter evening!

Here is an idea of the colours to be used for the bunting. Looking forward to making it!

Yummy oats and honey!

We all know it is difficult to keep in shape (or be motivated to try and do something!) in winter time. But it is actually such a beautiful season! Especially for a wedding, as I recently realized. About a week ago, I was fortunate enough to help some wonderful people on a shoot. Go have a look at The Pretty Blog and their inspirational shoot for Special K Oats & Honey. This Special K is a limited range, so hurry and go get some! It is so yummy. (Oh, and it's me in the photo's! How awesome is that!?) :)

Handmade Love

I've always liked being creative and making things. Clothes, accessories, baking all sorts of yummies, making food and recently, some elements to add to your house. These are some of the pillows I have made. They have all been for a birthday (peace, love, joy), baby shower (shhh, slaap) or kitchen tea (geluk, liefde). 

Seeing I just started Handmade J, I decided to make some things for some of the blogs I follow (religiously!), as they have been such an inspiration. So many beautiful ideas, things, places and things to make out there! I absolutely love being able to share the creativity! :) So here is a preview of 2 projects I will be tackling this weekend. Wonder if you can figure out who is getting a pressie in the mail..!? ;)
